Macdaddy911
So my question is, is there any wheel and tire combinations that I could run to keep the stock suspension of my outback but reduce the wheel well gap a little bit? They seem to be pretty close already but I wasn't sure if there was something that could be done to change that. Thanks!
teesak
I am by no means an expert but I assume there is not. I have 225 tires on stock rims (within dealer recommendations) and am on stock suspension and the front wheels are close to rubbing when I turn and there is not a ton of clearance in the back either. These cars are designed to be a little higher off the ground than most so wheel gap is something to expect. If I was looking to close the wheel gap I would go coil overs (first choice) or swap for legacy suspension (another solid choice)
JHamilton117
Putting OB springs on my leggy raises it an inch so I'm guessing it would drop you an inch tho. Might want stiffer springs so you don't rub or bounce tho
