johnegg Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 there is no simple answer. why do you ask? what are you looking for? the AWD auto trans 00 - 04 usually delivers a 90 /10 split with the front favored. but if there is a ''speed differential'' between the front and rear, it jumps to 60/40 front to rear. certain ''conditions will also force a 60/40 split, such as WOT, wide open throttle. also moving the trans selector into 1 or 2 should ''lock the trans into 6t0/40 split. any questions? YeuEmMaiMai Posted May 21, 2016 Share Posted May 21, 2016 3rd gen Legacy AWD can do a max split of 50/50 but like Johnegg said most of the time it is biased towards the front under normal driving conditions. It can send enough power to the rear to make the car tail happy on slippery surfaces...if you get into the throttle too much. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
