03Indigo
got a killer deal on these new 17" rims/Winter Tires: Sport Edition (Kosei) D5s, 17x7", 19lbs. Hankook IceBear W300, 225-55-VR17, load rating 101. (highest load rating for a tire in this range, fits the allroad, Volvo Cross Country, Outback, and other cars with the bigger tire set.) First impressions with a 10 mile drive around the dry North Metro Denver area and highway. They are very quiet, track esceptionally well, decent dry grip, and strong side walls. Minimal roll compared to the other winter tires I have had, including the WS-50, M2, Graspics, and others. For the money, I think this is a great winter option that has a high load rating as well as a high traction/speed rating. on to the pics. http://www.rmcb5.com/albums/album73/IMG_1585.jpg http://www.rmcb5.com/albums/album73/IMG_1588.jpg http://www.rmcb5.com/albums/album73/IMG_1586.jpg http://www.rmcb5.com/albums/album73/IMG_1583.jpg http://www.rmcb5.com/albums/album73/IMG_1578.jpg

PGT
nice! I just scored 18x7.5 Rota Group A's for $625. Looking for tires now....
03Indigo
you going to run the 18" for the winter?....that will be cool. Nice find on the Rota's.
PGT
it was $25 more than 17's. Why not? Tires will be a little more than 17's, but it also means resale will be higher too.
