andrewb4 Posted May 17, 2016 Share Posted May 17, 2016 I have been throwing a code 22, checked it through under the dash connectors, i installed a boost gauge, the check engine light of the code 22 (knock sensor) hasnt come on in a bit. My question is what is stock boost!? (1999 legacy b4 rsk) I ask this question because on wide open throttle my boost never reaches more than 8-9psi. Definitely has not hit 10. It feels like it pulls good, it is a 45$ boost gauge. Code is not thrown during boost. vacuum pressure is evident around 16 in.Hg at idle, and after acceleration will drop to 20. My assumption is that the connections are fine and the gauge is reading properly, so is it a boost problem somewhere or the gauge a bit wonky? Stock, manual.
