gtonstilts
i just put usdm sedan spec b suspension on my outback and as i feared the rear sits almost an inch lower than the front, i was tempted to lower the front, but being its an outback and i quite enjoy being able to hit bumps and pot holes without cringing or scraping, i think im going to raise the rear and just get big ass tires to fill up the fender gap so the question is has anyone tried king springs on oem spec b bilsteins ? or is there any other brand lift spring that works well with these ? gtonstilts
saggy but spacers are good for slight tweaks 1/4-3/8, but my struts would still be close to the bottom of the stroke and i load it full of dj equipment 5 nights a week, so id much rather do the lift with springs or spring boosters that go between the coils, that way it fixes the problwm not just a symptom
gtonstilts
all i was looking for was a confirmed spec b owner that had used king standard height and i found it here: http://forum.liberty.asn.au/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=24562 he seems happy and i love the way his car sits so, i ordered ksrs-29 king springs, and i will put my 225 55 17 outback tires back on to fill out the wheel wells... gtonstilts
since shipping from aus to usa will take a while i doubled up the rubber upper mount and put a rubber booster betwwen the top coil. its pretty level now, and rideas great. if i hadnt already ordered the king springs id prolly leave it this way
