Rocjawclamps
Hi everyone first post here! just bought myself a 1999 subaru legacy gt 2.5 limited 30th anniversary and I want to get a new exaust any recommendations? The car currently has no modifications yet also looking into a cold air intake just don't know which one to get. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Sara32013
I don't know a whole lot about exhausts but another member posted this http://www.protuninglab.com/hds-si97-25rs.html?utm_source=googlepepla&utm_medium=adwords&id=140848870138. It should bolt right up to our cars, I'm not sure how it would effect anything. RumbleRumble would probably know a good bit about exhaust, his car sound pretty sweet. Here's a link to his post with a video, it is awesome. Sorry I couldn't be more help, lol. My car has an exhaust leak right after the cat and it sounds pretty sweet but it's not right, lol. JBisson
Custom exhaust is the way to go for our cars here in the states. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sara32013
Honestly I thought about building my own catback sometime in the future using these two items to start with! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Subaru-Exhaust-Converter-2-Pipe-Flange-Repair-Kit-Replacement-FX1758-/171101451213?fits=Year%3A2000%7CMake%3ASubaru%7CModel%3ALegacy&hash=item27d670f3cd:g:ktMAAMXQTT9Rr6Q9&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Universal-Exhaust-Stamp-Y-pipe-/311410194078?hash=item48817e769e:g:RwQAAOSwDNdVv35f&vxp=mtr The exhaust flange repair kit something I SHOULD have used when my flange rusted off.. instead I cut a small piece off of my resonator pipe and tried to use an adapter. However, my cat has a lip just before the flange on it that's about 1/2 inch wide and I can't get an adaptor to bite on to it, so I'm stuck with a bad leak until I replace the resonator pipe or build something else. I could cut the flange on the cat but I really don't wanna screw that up!
