teamdarkstyle
I have been designing a steel bumper for my mom's/familys first suby that got totaled it a wreck. Since i work for a bumper manufacture that makes some heavy duty bumpers and skid plates for jeep, toyota, nissian. i took on the task of designing a steel bumper made out of 12 gauge steel about .100" of a inch thick plate and weigh about 45-50lbs. I have spent about 40+ hours designing and it has left me with a designed that could be easily made in volume. If there is enough interest i could get my company to manufacture a small lot of them. Attached our some picture of the 3D model designed off a 2001 subaru legacy L. This design has 6 fog lights, the 4 in the center section our for Baja design squadart light and the one in the wings are some off brand 2.5" led light with a blue halo ring. Sara32013
About how much would it cost? I would also love to see it on a car!
teamdarkstyle
Not sure on a price, will have to see how long it take to prep, bend, and weld up. If i had to take a guess i would say somewhere between the $600-750 range but could be less. I have the mounting brackets fab up and will start working on the bumper itself here soon. ill be sure to post the picture of the final mock up before powder coating.
