Swapping ECM/ECU and Tune

Backstory:

I had the guys at BCP in Detroit build me a motor and the guy building it was a former Subaru technician and told me that the wiring harness was receiving more power than it should. He measured the voltage between the ECM and Chassis ground and measured 30V when it should be 10V. He said it could be a wiring harness issue or the ECM but told me to look into the ECM.

 

So I have a new (used) computer coming in from another user on this forum.

 

Now, I have an Accessport married to my car and a Custom tune done by BCP on the Accessport. When I swap the ECM, do I have to un-marry the accessport and reinstall it? Is there a way I can reflash my custom tune without losing it after un-marring it without having to go back to BCP?

You can save your map from your AP to your computer just in case. Then re-upload to the AP if it gets cleared off. Or get an ETUNE from us =)
