arse_sidewards
The vehicle in question is a 93 FWD wagon. I'm hoping to convert it to discs. What parts do I need? Can I get them from an AWD car? FWDs are practically impossible to find in the junkyard. This car will be AWD eventually so I'd like to go that route even if it means more work. Can I get AWD parts from the knuckle out and bolt them to my control arms?
USLiberty
Is this 5speed? Assuming it is, to swap fwd to awd you need awd parts: rear subframe, rear diff,, transmission cross member, driveshaft, shifter, fuel tank & vapor separator, hubs, rotors disc, clutch pedals, hydraulic clutch master, calipers & mounts and probably some more I can't remember . Better off swapping the whole rear subframe and suspension. Underneath the rubber plugs cover where the awd transmission mounts bolt to. I did a fwd to awd turbo swap so I had to swap the front crossmember also. Big job, but I had wrecked my modified legacy turbo and just needed the unibody off a fwd.
