Phate Posted April 11, 2016 Share Posted April 11, 2016 I don't think the actual cluster uses LED's or bulbs on these cars, they're electroluminescent. Fortunately, they light up white, so you might just be able to get a colored gel sheet (like what is used in stage/photography lighting), and slip it between the EL panel and the back of the gauge face. BlazeHusky Posted April 21, 2016 Author Share Posted April 21, 2016 So I pulled apart an NA 2.5i cluster and a GT cluster for comparisons sake. The GT has noticeably more LED's than the NA one, making it tons brighter. So it is possible to replace the LED's, but it is A LOT more work than other gens.
