I picked up a 2002 Subaru Legacy L Wagon over the weekend. I am trying to find a decent sounding exhaust for the car(Catback or full depending on price). Does anyone have any suggestions? RumbleRumble Posted March 28, 2016 Share Posted March 28, 2016 You don't need to change much. The muffler does most of the sound damping. youtube search some subies with 2.5ej and a muffler change. I run a Borla type-s axle back with a extended tail pipe and Borla muffler tip. Sounds great, some drone, but not too loud very deep with no raspyness. 150$ for the muffler 60$ for the tip and 70$ for someone to weld it on for me.
