allmightyfork
Hey guys first off im greatfull for any info and advise recieved from this thread. My intent is gaining some height. I have read alot of threads and what not but there are few that i have found regarding an sus. I have a 99 sus and will be putting on the same year forester struts and springs. I read about someone doing the same and gaining about 2.5 inches but they said outback sus and i dont know if there is a difference or what year forester the parts were from. Its too late for me to go back now, i have the springs and will order the struts tomorrow and with o.e. struts that have 260k miles on them they need changed either way. What are your thoughts, opinions and possiboe tid bit of info? Thank you all
RumbleRumble
Your car is a 2nd gen. Try the 2nd gen forums. American years are 2000-2004 for 3rd gen.

FtsTexx
Ok As I've heard for 3rd Gen Legacy, outback struts hook up no problem. But your SUS likely has the same suspension of the outback already.. I've been looking into lifting my Legacy, but I think i heard the forester strut style differ from outback/ legacy.
