digdug18 Posted March 8, 2016 Share Posted March 8, 2016 I checked rockauto and a couple subaru parts sites, they seem to have some parts for a rebuild, but I'm wanting everything as a kit. I found kits for the newer cars, mostly for the wrx/sti, but I'm not looking for upgraded/uprated parts, this is my dd, not a racecar(ricecar). I'd appreciate it if someone can point me in the right direction. And yes, the synchro's in some gears are worse then others, i get an occasional grind when moving into 1st at a stop light, or occasionally 2nd to 3rd, but it's not happening all the time, not what I would call a really bad grind either. But a rebuild is in the future, which I've already purchased the wrx 5th gear for the conversion to get a lower rpm for better highway mileage.
