mumblespec Posted February 10, 2016 Share Posted February 10, 2016 Got some weird ass problems now. Battery light and ebrake sensor pop on when im under 2k rpm. If I hit 4k rpm and shift it goes away until I put it back into neutral and let it fall under 2k. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
apexi Posted February 11, 2016 Share Posted February 11, 2016 After doing some quick searching, it sounds like it could be the alternator belt is too loose, or your alternator is dying. I have 189k on my oem alternator, so I'm leaning towards a belt issue. If you have subs or something I think that could shorten the alternator life though. I would check the tightness of the alternator belt. I've attached the fsm page which says how much deflection there should be without using a belt tensioner tool.
