Members,

As many of you have seen in Drew888's post here: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=249210

Drew's wife collapsed unexpectedly when her heart suffered a catastrophic failure, with no chance of recovery.

This has left them devastated physically, emotionally and even more so, financially, as the escalating medical costs have reached well beyond their means to cover these costs.

We're an amazing bunch - this family we call LegacyGT.com. So, anything you can do to help and support Drew and his family, in their time of need, is much appreciated. If you can, click on the link below and send along your thoughts, prayers and support.

Thank you all in advance,

SBT

  • I Donated Too
Shocked to read this on the front page but glad it was there to catch my attention. I wish there was more I could do to help. I echo others in that I can't even imagine what you're going through. All my thoughts and wishes and donated in the hope it will help get you through the piss poor way insurance deals with peoples lives.

Something to remember if you see something like this again (hopefully you never do) but even though I needed cash fast to cover immediate expenses and thus had no choice but to create this fund raiser, you need to know that it helped more in keeping my spirits up.

The funds didn't grow fast enough in time and I'm still somewhat behind but I discovered a life insurance policy so I and the kids should be ok.

I see I'm rambling and all over the place, oh well.

The take away here is that when you are in a serious pit of loneliness and despair giving and being there, however the size or effort, can be huge and it was for me. Please remember that. The next guy may be much more emotionally unstable than I was and he or she will need you.

I'll still be around and as things settle down (may take several months I'm afraid) I'll pop in now and again to assist where I can.

Love you guys,

Drew

P.S. Dale, I have no words buddy. Thank you my friend. Take Care and God Bless.
