gwicks
So noticed today when i pulled up in front of a window that only one DRL was working, but when i switched on high beams both come on. Also just bought new low beam bulbs because the low beam on the same side the DRL is not working does not work. I had assumed i had just blown a bulb, but now that i have two issues on the same ( drivers ) side, i'm wondering what else it could be. I have looked at the wiring and it all seems ok. Given that the DRL's use the high beams, and high beams work perfectly, I assume their must be some kind of wiring or fuse issue, but i cant track it down. Any help greatly appreciated. gwicks
Ok ignore said my post, i was 100% sure the DRL were running off the high beams, but double checked and they were the LOW BEAMS. I feel stupid. Replace the lows with osram rally 65W and all good. Will be interested to see how they perform tonight. Also realised the lowbeam light cover behind the housing is missing, will have to try and pick on up. She's an 06 2.5i legacy by the way
Dispatch20
Yeah, the 05-07 use the low beam for DRL and the 08-09 use the high beam for DRL.
