NicksLegacy Posted January 26, 2016 Share Posted January 26, 2016 I picked up an EJ253 w/VVT from an 09 2.5i. Was told my heads and intake was all I needed to swap. But spinning the engine with the 251 heads on, seems that the pistons hit the valves. Can I put 251 pistons in the 253 short block and make it work with my heads?
