OLsubedrvr Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 I'm in Juhrzee, near the shore and it is howling; high winds gusting into the mid 60 mph range. There are mini SNOW-NADOS. My Subes are getting buried and I'm not looking forward to clearing the mess later (today not likely) but tomorrow when the storm subsides. Be safe & if you have to drive be EXTRA CAREFUL. doobaruGT Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 I'm 100 mi west of philly and this storm will rival former storms! I'm not even thinking about heading out. We don't have the sustained winds you do but the snow is still blowing around pretty good. I was out shoveling and snow blowing and it was pretty much in vain but clearing 16" is still better than clearing all 30". Phate Posted January 23, 2016 Share Posted January 23, 2016 Absolutely nothing here in Schenectady/Albany NY. This is some bullshit. I just put snows on the car, I want to do skids. Weather radar shows that the edge of the storm might pass over us for an hour or two, probably not enough for real snow accumulation. Ski season has sucked this year.
