jazzgitah
Posted this in 3rd gen forum, but saw this.....so: My 1998 Legacy wagon died a few months ago and now a 02 wagon that I have admired in my neighborhood is for sale. Sadly, the owner was an elderly lady who passed away, but the car has 115k miles and I think just one owner. I'm going to look at it Saturday morning Jan 23....Not sure about asking this but does anyone have a Carfax account who could run this 4S3BH665127664051.....Carfax charges $40 for one report!!! My email is jazzgitah at hotmail. Also, what should I check other than looking for evidence of headgasket problem? Thanks...

nxmb
Carfax will be more thorough regardless, worth the $ even if you pay the $40.
FLlegacy
I used autocheck before it was all the same info as carfax, really nothing is in there that a dealer couldn't pull for you anyway.
