4th Gen Fender Flares

I'm actually thinking about buying some wrx wide fenders, cutting them, and welding the flare onto another set of legacy fenders I have. May be a bit of work, but want to see what it would look like.

I was thinking the same thing, however, a cardboard mockup was sort of goofy. I think that's pretty close to the manta-ray solution, so its workable.

I can see how it would look a bit odd. I think the legacy body is too round for the sharp edges of the sti fenders.

Here's what I want, 2016 Subaru Levorg BTCC race fenders:

Obviously a mock up but real pics should be available in a couple of months.

Those that you posted on the white car appear very Audi-esk to me. I personally want something like this.

But I also know these are going to be very difficult and are not a "Bolt on and cut" application.

That was a ton of work!!! I just went back through his blog to see what they used. They chopped the factory body work, extended it out and reformed and filled it. DAMN. Hot as all get out, but that is certainly not a cheap fender upgrade. Would be awesome to do though...Hmmmmm, oh lotto machine...give me some winning numbers please :).

Looks more like a rocket bunny or olde-style IMSA GT fender setup. Either way, that might be easier to do. take off front fenders, cut rears for clearance, then attach extension panels and let the ends be squared off.
