Joshlaa
Hey guys, I have a 2003 legacy b4 Australian spec. Twin turbo ej208. I had a recent issue pop up where my radiator fans don't switch off after I drive for a small while. On cold start it is fine. It warms up normally then the main fan will kick in and not go off at all. There are no overheating issues and the drivability is fine. If I turn it off the fan will switch off too though if I put it on reds after turning off the fan will stay on but if I redo it turning it off then on reds again the fan will not switch on. If I cold start the car and let it warm up just by idle I will get normal fan operation where it switches on and off. I checked the main relay by swapping it with a spare and it still does it. I was wondering if there is a fan switch which the Ecm relies on or does the Ecm go off the coolant temp sensor readings(though I am not experiencing rough idle or poor driveability). Has anyone had a similar issue and found a way to rectify it ? Any input would be very appreciated
