Pjak
Hi all, I am from Sydney Australia and currently own a Subaru B4 2003! It has a pretty neat exhaust on it at the moment but is all rusted due to previous owners having it in the snow and there is little holes in the exhaust. Just wandering what exhausts options I should look at like weather it be turbo back or cat back and stuff like that! And it would have to be custom because I doubt there is bolt on for this car and if anyone on here is from Sydney could recommend a good exhaust place and also a rough price! Thanks everyone
lagwagn
Hi Pjak, I can give you a bit of advice on this if you plan to go custom. I recently had a GTB imported to Canada and wanted a new exhaust on it too. I wanted something that had that nice throaty burble but something that wasnt too loud. The shop I had build the exhaust moved the muffler up to the front so that both turbo outlets dumped right into it and then there is a long straight pipe that goes to the back of the car. From everyone that I've chatted with about this, including the shops that actually tune and build Subaru's, this is the best way to go. it's all 3" pipe and a magnaflow muffler. I get compliments on the sound all the time and it doesnt drone at highway speeds. Pics so this makes more sense: http://rbpfuel.com/forumimages/small/lagwagn_1999_subaru_legacy_gtb_exhaust1.jpg http://rbpfuel.com/forumimages/small/lagwagn_1999_subaru_legacy_gtb_exhaust2.jpg http://rbpfuel.com/forumimages/small/lagwagn_1999_subaru_legacy_gtb_exhaust5.jpg
