Cheesemanspro
Hi all! I have a 2015 Legacy base model without navigation. I took my head unit out today to see if I could install a sub in it, but there is no where to plug the sub wires. If there is a way to install a sub without having to change my head unit that would be awesome. Thankyou
NinetySix
Does your sub amp have speaker level inputs? If so you could tap off the rear speakers, or use a line level converter. Although it's possible there might be something pre-wired for an OEM sub

I might just have to go to a place that installs sound systems and ask their opinion. I just figured maybe somebody did an install on the 2015 model on here
NinetySix
Certainly a safe option there, but you can add a sub to any car as long as there's room for it, no matter how basic the factory head unit is.
