Wilkems
So I ordered a front o2 sensor but it turns out it's for 02-04. I'm wondering, could I just chop of the connector of the Stock on and replace the new one with the stock connector? The wires are the same colors and spots, just the head itself is different. I'm just wondering if there's anything in the sensor itself that is calibrated differently that would throw the computer off. I'd rather not have to wait a week with my car taking up the garage to order one. The local one's are $140 and I'm just not going to do that! Thanks! NORULZleggy
If you have the extra money hit up rockauto and get the correct one. Or go get the correct one and then take the wrong one back. I am so against cutting and thing like that when it comes to cars unless I am in a jam. I think there might be something different between 04-05 possibly. I would not chance it. GEE-OTTO
That sensor is calibrated differently so even if you hacked it up it would throw a CEL.
