Private Label Marketing divorced downpipe

I recently purchased a Private Label Manufacturing downpipe on ebay and wanted to do a quick review of it with some installation photos.

The design is similar to the Grimmspeed or Perrin divorced downpipe, minus fancy cnc flanges and laser cut badges, at a significantly lower price. I chose this particular pipe because it has a large divider between the turbine and wastegate where some of the chinese manufacturers have defeated the purpose of the divorced design by neglecting this small detail. The extra o2 bung is of great benefit to me as well.

My first impression was positive. The materials and workmanship are very good. The ports are polished and free of any burs. The welds are clean and consistent. The rest of the pipe is brushed to a satin finish. It appears there is a clear coat or sealant over the welds themselves. The transmission mount tab appears to be laser cut and was positioned perfectly. Overall, im very pleased with the quality and value of this downpipe.

Im sure there are plenty of downpipe install threads so ill leave an abbreviated version here just for review.

First remove the heat shield over your turbo. Then the five nuts that hold the downpipe to the turbo.

Next, reach down behind it and unplug the o2 sensor connector.

Roll under the car and unbolt the two fasteners between the dowpipe and catback.http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e301/erabmx/Mobile%20Uploads/20160104_201132_zps5xgncumz.jpg

Remove the bolt holding the upper half of the DP to the transmission.

Finally remove the bolt holding the lower half of the DP to the hanger on the trans.

Pull the pipe down and out, swap the o2 sensor to the new DP, then install the new pipe in reverse order.

Cost? And no wrap on that?

Its listed at 300 obo. They accepted my offer of 250. The purpose of this thread was to display the downpipe, as a favor to the distributor, and to give a short review. I wasnt worried about heat wrap right now for this reason. Ill have this pipe off again very soon for other upgrades, giving me an opportunity to ceramic coat or wrap it when its more convenient for me.
