Mulenga Posted January 1, 2016 Share Posted January 1, 2016 Hi folks. I have a problem on my subaru legacy gt wagon 2000 model, auto manual. Lately when driving every time I press on brake pedal, my dashboard lights dim/go off with a click sound and come on when I release, especially when dashlights are set on low. The click sound would sometimes come on continuously when am driving without the dashlights blinking, & sometimes with dashlights blinking. I've also noticed that sometimes, a continuous click sound would emanate from the gear liver housing. What could be the problem, what should I check? johnegg Posted January 1, 2016 Share Posted January 1, 2016 do you have any ''trouble'' lights on, or warning lights on in the instrument panel, like the ''brake'' light, or the ABS light? a bad or failing alternator can cause really screwy things to happen. did you connect the ''green'' test connectors under the dash? don't do this.
