Nosneros
I have a 2005 Legacy gt AT and whenever I turn on the cruise it starts flashing, I do not have a check engine light. I have talked to a lot of people and I would rather not just throw money at it and actually find the issue. Any help is appreciated.
762x39
Even though you have no CEL, you may still be able to pull a code. I would just start by scanning it, many auto part stores will scan CEL's free of charge.

762x39
In the past when that happened to my car, a CEL usually showed up a day or two later. Kind of like the sniffles before a cold..
KoolAidMan26
It's most likely an issue with a wheel bearing. The sensors for the cruise rely on them. This is a common symptom when someone replaces our front wheel bearings with a cheaper brand. Unfortunately we are stuck with either buying OEM, Timken, or i forgot what other brands work in the front. There is a thread on this somewhere. Well this is also having a symptom of feeling the speed "oscillate" when cruise is engaged for the short period.
