LegacyKid5
Hey everyone, I'm looking to get a grimmspeed intercooler for my car and looking to hear thoughts on the thermal dispersant coating and whether it's worth the extra money and what factors I should be considering when deciding. So let's hear it!

LegacyKid5
Thanks I saw that thread but was hoping there would be some more conclusive evidence pushing me one way or another. Ended up going with the thermal coated.
BigTDogg MA
I'm sure Grimmspeed has data. They may have posted it in their development thread. The dispersant is never a bad idea, I just couldn't justify the extra cost on mine.
doobaruGT
I'm going to use an infrared thermometer on my uncoated unit to come up with some general inlet/outlet temps in real driving conditions to get you an idea. It's based purely on conduction though and is therefore quite indirect. My end tanks are wrapped in gold tape as well. Updated parts list since original part-out here.
