Question: So, I have a 2009 Subaru Legacy 2.5i the transmission of course is a 4spd well I was wondering would a jdm transmission be a direct replacement? Like from the GT model... I know its a 5spd auto but will my ecu be able to read it correctly without changing the ecu? Hopefully I'm making sense. Seen them on ebay for dirt cheap so its nice knowing that it wont cost me an arm and leg to replace some parts if need be. I bought an auto be more involved in my uninvolvedness . 200k+ Club If you can't blind them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit. My high mileage turd.
