Poll: Aftermarket grille or strip, repair, and repaint stock?

I need some input from you guys since I can't make up my mind lol. I recently painted my grille but am not happy with the overall outcome. There is some issues with the chrome that will likely need to fixed with bondo. So basically I am looking at stripping the paint, making the necessary repairs, and repainting. If I go this route, I will also be getting an emblem overlay to match the rear and steering wheel emblems. Black oval with red stars. It is either this option, or I just purchase the AVO grille. Or one similar. I saw some cheaper versions (C-Mod) but heard some people had fitment issues with them. I am not sure what to do. I don't want to invest more time and money into the stock grille if it's going to come out crappy. But if I take my time, I'm sure I can make it look excellent. What do you guys think? Spend the money or spend the time? I like the clean look of the AVO grille over stock but I also like the blacked out grille with emblem overlay.
