ivonr Posted October 21, 2015 Share Posted October 21, 2015 First time this has happened: While driving, with the CD player off I turned my front and rear defroster on...my defrosters come on fine, but the CD player and a/c display start flickering. Also noticed that the little orange light on the defroster knob didn't come on Very annoying. I can guess it is a wiring issue, but does anyone have more info? But - after rolling the illumination dimmer control briskly up and down it stopped. newmann51 Posted October 23, 2015 Share Posted October 23, 2015 Mine was doing the same thing. Would flicker all the time. I ended up getting a new one from Subaru when I brought it in for a wheel bearing. I have a warranty the dealership sold me, so they combined both items under the job. Works well now.
