gilly5390
Hey guys, I just bought a 2008 legacy GT. I was wondering if any of you could possibly point me in the right direction when it came to upgrades. I want to make the car sound nice"turbo" but also make the engine last a while. FLlegacy
If you want a reliable turbo 4th gen you should just leave it alone and enjoy it stock...lol. You can do a cold air kit to get some woosh from the turbo, the blow off sound will require some new hardware and possibly a tune, so then you should also look into an accessport to make getting tuned a breeze. You should hit up the 4th gen section of the forum, and fill in your location and car in your profile so people can suggest shops or retailers close to you that would be worth checking out. Mike07LGT
The best mods to do to start are get an accessport, and buy an aftermarket down pipe, flash stage 2 on the accessport then look into getting a tune. That will safely give the car more power and keep it reliable 03 WRB WRX (RIP) 04 JBP STI (sold) 07 DGM Legacy GT (RIP) 12 OBP STI (DD)
