Draconian Posted September 11, 2015 Share Posted September 11, 2015 So i've been looking around and have seen a couple steering wheel threads here and there, but sadly don't cover something I've been wanting to do. I have an 05GT with the Momo steering wheel. I plan on either going with the 07-09 factory headunit in the future and eventually a tablet install in the dash, but what I'd also really like if possible is to swap a steering wheel from 07-09 with the steering wheel controls. Obviously there is going to be some wiring fun involved i'm sure but has anyone attempted this before? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
battelready Posted September 12, 2015 Share Posted September 12, 2015 Ive seen a thread some where. If you are switching the wheel and the airbag it shouldn't be a problem . Ive personally swapped a 08 paddle shift kit and combo switch assembly onto my 05 momo wheel and it fit so mounting the newer wheel shouldnt be a problem.
