ECP
Well my Morimoto kit from TRS came in yesterday and it only took about a half an hour to install today. Pretty simple to wire and everything looks really quality. But after getting everything wired I'm running in to an issue getting the lights to stay lit. I can only get one lit or both for a very short period of time, and it's totally random. TRS is closed for the weekend, so I'm wondering if you guys know if maybe I'm messing up the wiring somehow, or if I have DOA parts. Here is a video of the problem. I'm putting together a diagram of how I have it wired and will post it in just a second.
ECP
The bulb harness had these extra wires that I'm not sure go to anything, in the instructional video the guy just cut them off, so I just left them alone. This is how I have everything wired. The diagrams on the website show grounding wires that are definitely not on the HD Relay harness... maybe the diagram they have is from an older version? Their diagram doesn't show the battery negative terminal wire either. ECP
I put some bulbs in from a friends Leggy and they work just fine. Looks like it just shipped with shitty bulbs.
Coldsho
Without a relay its been my experience that there isnt always enough voltage to spark more than one ignitor. Esp during startup. I just turn my heads and fogs on after startup and havent had issues anymore
turboboost
Wiring diagram is correct. If you haven't already, get in touch with TRS for replacement bulbs - their customer service is pretty on point.
