I really wanted to go but a friend had his bachlor party so couldn't make it. Is there going to be another dyno day anytime in the near future? Crucial Racing
What octane is the car running??? It's pretty dang lean... ...as long as it's not knocking or pulling timing and all that jazz I'm sure it's totally fine. I'm NOT trying to question the tune, I'm just curious, because most Subaru's knock heavily above 12:1 unless they're on very good fuel... and I come from the land of Cali 91 so ... BOXRPWR
maybe I'm missing it.....where is the AFR plotted????

sutter2k
Looks like psi starts to drop a little after 4200 rpms. Whats a safe psi to maintain at the upper rpm levels? Is this a place where a bigger fuel pump would help out? I will tuned in with regards to about TDC's findings with just the injector change. perhaps doing either/or will buy some room. thanks, Matt

Mblock66
Hmm the TQ seems low doesn't it? Didn't you pull like 330 TQ and 245 HP out of a stock turbo'd legacy with a 5EAT and a few mods?

Im not sure about that, here is a TDC Stage II MT and the TQ hit 302. I am not seeing the benefit of the 18g I guess. redfly17
well don't jump to conclusions remember I am only boosting to 15psi. We don't really kno the capabilities and capacity of this turbo. Once I get the actuator problem solved I think we will see a lot more answers. Also those dyno charts are of when Jon's Dyno was not calibrated to spec. I believe if I remember correctly he had them recalibrated recently and it was putting out more accurate #'s. You can correct me if I'm wrong Jon.
Mblock66
Ahh ok. I wasn't jumping to anything really. I am just going on what other results I have seen out of TDC for our cars
TDC Tuning
an AT has somthing called a TORQUE CONVERTER. guess what that does.... the way my dyo was loading on the AT is different than an MT if you look @ any dynograph on any NON inertia dyno for an AT lgt you will see the same phenomena. Dynapacks do it too. The new calibration and firmware i have on the dyno allows for better testing and more accurate results.. I have changed how i test cars on the dyno and how it loads them its a bit easier on the car and seems to allow me to make more power infact i made 30 ftlbs over a previous tune on an sti that i recently re did http://www.tdctuning.com/dynocharts/erica.jpg With this new setup i made 340 ftlbs on a 40T and 300+ whp on an sti with a stock wrx tdo4 actuator An 18G wheel will spool slower than the vf40 hence why his peak is later and his HP is higher even with less boost that car never went over 15.5 with the wastegte solenoid locked down @95% TDC Tunings LGT Forum Cobb, Perrin, APS, Invidia, Megan racing and MORE!! redfly17
Jon 93 IDC doesn't sound like I have much headroom if I wanted to reach target boost of 17/18 psi. So you do think I will need to get higher output injectors then.

sutter2k
Note where is another 18g dyno with fuel mods http://harmanmotive.com/clientuploads/dyno/allan_legacy_18G.jpg Here is another tune without fuel mods. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18572&highlight=18g I'd compare before/after tunes. Its tough to compare differents cars on different dynos, from different tuners. 18g peaks much more than 1.5t running the same boost. You do loose some down low, but very good gain overall.
