DanteXanthe Posted September 4, 2015 Share Posted September 4, 2015 Hi, I have a 1994 Legacy L Wagon. It's front wheel drive with the 5 speed manual. I absolutely love the car but I have some little issues with it, and i was hoping someone could shine some light on them. 1. It sometimes sputters a bit on first startup. Usually I can give it some throttle and it doesn't totally die. Any ideas as to what that is? 2. How difficult would it be to convert it to AWD? I know I would need a different fuel tank and the obvious other bits (rear diff, drive shaft, rear axles). Would I need a full transmission as well? 3. The gear lever is a tad on the vague side, would I be better off getting STi linkage or just swapping out the old bushings? 4.
