leakypipe86
Just got done installing the Hellas but when I lock my car (3 presses), they go off. They are way too loud. Also, the beeping with the first two presses are gone. I noticed the stock horn assembly has two horns, each with their own connector, and a random white connection in the back. I disconnected them all and removed the assembly. Which sockets produce the stock chirps and final beep? I only want the Hellas to go off when honking the horn on the wheel. ras06LGT
Pressing the lock three times and getting a horn beep is normal - it's a car finder function. I believe this is a BCM programming thing and cannot be disabled. The normal lock beep is also controlled by the BCM, but has a separate module that actually beeps. Can't remember where it is, but it should not be affected by a horn install. Make sure you didn't know any other connectors loose on accident.
