apexi
Is there some kind of a trick to getting the power steering/alternator belt on the car? With both my old worn oem belt, and new gates belt, it took a lot of stretching and pushing to get the belt into place. AC belt is easy, went on no issues. It just makes me uncomfortable the way I had to push the PS/alt belt over the crank pulley. What seemed easiest for me was putting the belt over the PS and alternator pulley, and then guiding it over the crank pulley. Even then, it wasn't that easy. I loosened the alternator pivot bolt on the driver side, loosened the lock bolt on the passenger side, loosened the adjustment bolt as much as I could, and even pushed down on the alternator a little to make sure it was as low as possible.
