Delakor Posted August 5, 2015 Share Posted August 5, 2015 What is this box that goes to the turbo in the air intake system? The vacum hose that connects to the nipple it has is broken on my car.. Would this result in a major boost leak or is it something else? It comes from the boost solanoid. It's not the hose that's broken, it's the nipple itself that is attached to the silencer box.. Is there any way to bypass it or just remove it completly? I suppose if you just want to plug it, you could tee off another pre-turbo vac line, but I would try the JBweld if I were you. I'll go with the JBweld :-) I'll look into removing the air intake silencers/restrictors further down the road when I get to modding! Thanks man!
