dkim097
Hello legacygt peeps, I have come a long way since my previous posts on this forum (lol) and have committed to the British Columbia Institute of Tech. for their automechanics program. I've since done my own stereo deck, speakers, brakes, cv axles and have worked on my little 91 legacy sdn quite a bit. (this is me trying to make myself feel better for how idiotic i was previously) My check engine light scenario still occurs, however less frequently than before. I have since replaced the spark plugs which significantly reduced the frequency of the CE light. I am curious because I did not replace the wires, could that be a significant factor in reducing the light? However the signs of a blown o2 sensor are: low gas mileage (I only get about 350km a tank, city driving.. odometer has ~182k on it.. this might be typical, not sure. it's an automatic though), check engine light, and rough idle. It still idles rough from time to time despite the CE light not turning on. Tl;dr replace spark plug first or o2 sensor??
