kaitanium
Disconnected my battery (just (-) side to do some starter work and now my low hella horn doesnt sound. The high one sounds. Any ideas? All connections seem good, I even cleaned the contacts.
NewLegGT67
I was having the same problem over the winter. I cleaned the female connectors with a wire brush and some WD40, which resolved the problem. I have mine mounted behind the grill so with all the snow and slush over the winter they were really dirty. I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3. kaitanium
I may have to just clean mine but it makes really no sense that they would stop working after the battery disconnect! Turns out both horns arent functioning and only the 1x stock one i left on works. This is an easier situation to diagnose, sort of.
freaksavior
Check the fuse and relay?
kaitanium
tested the old relay and the leads, all seemed ok. Swapped out relay for the heck of it. Still dont work. Stock horn still works. Fuse looks good but I should check that with a multimeter too.
