edek Posted July 12, 2015 Share Posted July 12, 2015 Hi, i own a1994 legacy without O2 sensor....now i bought an new exaust that have that sensor......is convenient to atach it...? wich is the wire for that....had 94 models this sensors ?? edek Posted July 15, 2015 Author Share Posted July 15, 2015 Hi thanks for your interest ! the only wire terminal i see is the one comming from the same location of the backlight conection to the gearbox.....i don´t know if it is ox sensor or neutral switch...also may be other gearbox item... If they are Black/White, Yellow/Red and White, then that is the O2 sensor connector. GTEASER Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 You should go to bbs.legacycentral.org and download the service manuals with wiring diagrams. Yes, the O2 sensor is a 3-wire setup. Can you post some pics of where you found this connector and what it looks like? edek Posted July 30, 2015 Author Share Posted July 30, 2015 Thanks !! i have this car since last october and never had an oxigen sensor at all...neither a place to fit it...!! may be normal ??...now i have a new stailess steel complete exhaust (not yet installed) that has a place for the sensor... GTEASER Posted July 30, 2015 Share Posted July 30, 2015 Once you install the sensor, make sure to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to reset the ECU. It should run better and get better gas mileage with the O2 sensor installed.
