speezly Posted July 12, 2015 Share Posted July 12, 2015 So I found a 98 Legacy gt with 160k and they are asking 1850. I looked the car over and didn't see anything that would lead me to be concerned. I've owed a first gen Legacy for 15 years and love it to death. I know my way around every cubic inch of the ej22 and can fix just about anything on it. I know the ej25 is dohc, but other than that he operation is almost identical. I have heard the head gasket issues, but these seem to be holding up fine. The car does make a bit of a shutter as we make u turns, and I think it could be a cv axle issue or possibly a fuel or ignition system problem. Any and all input is greatly appreciated.
