new engine for 93 n/a legacy wagon

Recommended Posts

I have developed a knocking/clicking from pass side of engine increasing with throttle. After talking with mechanics and friends, simply replacing engine would be easier and prob cost less. I read a thread a month or so ago with somebody talking about how they can get strong used engines with 120,xxx miles or so all day from Oregon area for around $450-500 but cannot remember what i had looked up to get there or where i found it. Does this ring a bell to anybody or anyone know of a place to get good engines in WA? Missing my suby :(

car-part.com

sorted by part grade. "A" grade is best

these early 2.2 are really cheap engines anyway,...high quality for little price.

you "might" be able to drop in a 137hp 2.2 and ECU in from a later model for just a little more money.

I don't know the members on this board enough,....but I bet there are some that know what drops easy into your car off the top of their head.
