gary.hueh Posted May 24, 2015 Share Posted May 24, 2015 I have worked out most the quarks on my $1300 05 GT but the one thing puzzling me is the exhaust. It seems to be a cobbled together mess a middle school shop class welded together. To give short description ill start from the turbo back. Turbo downpipe: stock Catalytic converter section: stock This is where it gets weird The next 2 feet of straight pipe seems to be new and smaller diameter (so it could slip into the stock exhaust and be welded) After the 2 ft of new pipe it goes back to stock and the stock splitter pipe is still there. After the spillter it looks like there is magnaflow muffler. They look exactly like the mufflers you would find on a magnaflow catback system. My first plan was to completely reweld the exhaust with new piping but cant find the correct splitter. I dont need muffler I just need from the cat to the muffler.
