I wanted to do something like the first RS Turbo Liberty (Pictured below) But my issue- was the BF Body ever released in North America? GTEASER Posted May 4, 2015 Share Posted May 4, 2015 There is a BF for sale somewhere in Craiglist in OR right now. It's listed as a 1994 Legacy GT. EDIT: The ad has been deleted so it's probably sold. Use SearchTempest.com and keep an eye out. I have seen 2 of them listed in the last 4-6 months in the PNW. I think the "high roof" BF chassis offered as the GT model was only available in the US in 1993 and 1994. No way to 'clone' them AFAIK. wtdash Posted May 5, 2015 Share Posted May 5, 2015 Hi, '94 was the only year of the 1stGen GT, per THIS. Rare car. The GT in the USA was NOT turbocharged until the '05 model year. There were GT models that were turbo'd in other countries. And why does this site list the 1st Gen as '89-'93? JDM-based? '94 was the LAST year of 1st Gen in the USA.
