No pictures of the transmission crossmember bushes or diff inserts because well... they're boring :spin:

Difference between the crossmember bushes and stock is night and day though, it becomes blatantly obvious when you pull the stock ones out and compare them to the whiteline offerings.

Ordered 4 litres of Motul Gear 300 today for the tranny. Waiting for the install of my rear subframe inserts to do the transmission fluid at the same time while the cars on the hoist. Interested to see how much (if at all) it improves the shift feel.

Tranny fluid went in during the last service, definitely made a difference. Not "ZOMG WOW", but an improvement for sure.

I just finished installing my newest toy, a Raceseng Topology shift knob. Took the car for a quick test drive afterwards and wow, I had no idea a weighted shift knob would improve the feeling so much!

I didnt think a weighted jnob made much difference until I tried it as well.

In my car, after a weighted knib, the brass shifter bushing added zero gains that I could feel.

Yeah it certainly surprised me. I had the Perrin bits and pieces in before this (as you can tell from above), but because they all went in at once, I'm not sure if the brass bushing did that much.

Hey, what's up everybody? Just got a 2010 LGT 2.5 Limited, and loving it. I was just wondering what a good exhaust setup would be, everything is stock, and I'm looking to personalize my baby.

Thanks!

Got my mechanic to do the intake resonator delete while he had the car last week for a service.

There is a more distinct intake noise on boost over around 3500rpm and on gear changes. I don't have any experience with Gen4's to compare how much noise difference it makes on them, but for a $0 mod I'm happy with it.

Had the ride in for some love on Wednesday.

- OEM timing belt kit

- OEM water pump + thermostat

- Installed HKS dump

- Installed Perrin steering lockdown

Exhaust has a slight burble now, I'm assuming thats attributed to the high flow cat in the dump pipe. First impressions on the steering lockdown are great, very predictable and no increase in NVH that I've noticed.

I had Whiteline rear subframe bush inserts and LCA bushes to install too but the boys ran out of time. When they were installing the dump one nut rounded and one of the studs managed to destroy the thread in the turbo so it had to be drilled and re-tapped

Car went in for general service and installed the had them install the LCA bushes and rear subframe inserts this time.

Highly recommended! I wasn't expecting much difference, but they have made a noticeable improvement in the rear (less bum wobble), and I've noticed that the front LCA bushes make the car much more stable when dealing with mid-corner bumps

Had some upgraded braking bits and pieces installed on the weekend. I was still running around on the stock system, and my pads needed replacing anyway so I ended up fitting DBA T2 rotors, Dixcel Type M pads and Goodridge braided lines all round. This was an enormous improvement over the factory system - the spongy brake pedal is finally gone!
