rayeve
I have a 2001 Outback with 100,000 on it. Local repair shop says it needs new rear struts and wants $700 to do the job. That sounds awfully high to me. I wonder if I could get a response from other owners about their cost experience with replacing the rear struts? Many thanks. whitetiger
$700 WTF!!? the rear shocks are $140 total, and it takes about 2hrs to do it all if you are slow. go somewhere else.

bluesuby
I did all 4 struts on my LGT (Konis installed) for $700 about 4 years ago. Prices go up but not like that.
