specd08 Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 Hey guys I bought a canoe from REI and I have to go pick it up today. Wasn't thinking about transportation at time of purchase. I have a full roof rack system, but I will need to tie down the nose of the boat. Whats the EASIEST way to remove that plastic cover on the front bumper to access a tow point. Can I pop it off from the inside? I just had my bumper repainted, I don't wanna pry it off with a screwdriver. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
whitetiger Posted April 2, 2015 Share Posted April 2, 2015 it should just pop off with a little pressure, have you tried just pulling it off by hand? just use a soft plastic tool of some sort so you dont scratch anything if its a bit stiff to get off.
