What Sensor triggers the injectors?

Recommended Posts

spark firing problems on the driver side could be injector problems,

but is more likely a timing problem.

injectors do not go bad often.

and unless you have put a volt meter on them an seen that they quit firing at hiway speed,

it is more likely that the timing has jump.

the injectors may be working,

but not at the right time.

model?

year?

engine?

trans?

miles?

color?

remove the cam sprocket timing covers on each side of the engine and compare the timing marks on the sprockets.

if they do not point in the same direction,

you timing is off.

When the check engine light starts flashing... i can pull over, and start pulling injector wires and the engine makes no change. So... i put my volt meter to it... no voltage. This only happens at freeway speeds and untill i slow my revs down to block to block city driving, the misfire issue will go away, and the stumble dissapears. And it dont do it every time i get on the freeway. Ive already swapped the injectors side to side. Lately the idle has been garbage... sometimes.
